Refresh the class website & Google Classroom every time you get on. Also, use the classwork tab in Google Classroom, your planner, and the class website to keep up with what you have to do and what you have completed. Be sure to complete assignments in order according to the class website and remember Google Classroom may not be in your order.

  1. Read Rush Revere Chapter 2: Read Chapter 2 in Rush Revere and the First Patriots. If you are using Audible you need to also be sure that you are following along in your Rush Revere book.

  2. Rush Revere Chapter 2 Questions & Vocabulary: Using the book, answer the questions for Rush Revere Chapter 2 questions and complete the vocabulary for Rush Revere Chapter 2.

  3. Figurative Language Lesson: This is a lesson about Figurative Language it will be recored in class on Tuesday morning and will be available for distance learner by 10:30 on Tuesday morning. 

  4. Figurative Language Boom Cards: Go to Boom Cards, select Sign in with Google (be sure you are using your Sequoia Union Google. Complete the assigned deck called “Figurative Language Review”. 

  5. You Choose Opinion Essay on Book Creator: Go to the Book Creator Link, click sign in with Google. Then, join our class library by entering this SNZM869 code.  Using your opinion essay you will make a presentation. Each paragraph of your essay should be on its own page or spread. You should include pictures and graphic elements to make your presentation better. You need to be careful with your background and text fonts and colors, making sure that your writing is able to be read. You can also include videos, but the clip should be less than 2 minutes in length.

  1. Subtract Mixed Numbers with Renaming: This is a lesson about subtracting mixed numbers with Renaming. It will be recorded in class on Monday and will be available for distance learner Monday by 11:30.

  2. My Math Subtracting Mixed Numbers pages 691-692: You MUST SHOW YOUR WORK on a piece of notebook paper and upload a picture of where you have shown your math. Then, using Kami answer the question on the worksheet. If you do not show your work, your assignment will not be graded.

  5. iReady Math: This is NOT optional.  Through Clever, log into iReady. Click on Math and then select the teacher assigned lesson to complete.

  1. Human Impact Videos & Flippable: Watch the videos that are assigned to you through Discovery Education. You need to log on through Clever, and then click Discovery Education. The videos will show up in your assignments. You also need to use the key to fill in your flippable and then construct accordingly. 

  2. 4 Spheres Poster:  Using the directions and rubric provided, begin working on your 4 spheres Poster.  This will not be completed this week, so take your time and do not rush to get it finished.  You should have time to get everything drawn and labeled this week, and we will work on adding color and details next week.

  3. Human Impact NearPod: First go to NearPod, enter the code 8RCDY under where it says Students Join a Lesson. Click “join” after you have entered the code.

  1. Causes of the Revolution Lessons & Notes: Break the events that lead up to the American Revolution up into a couple events per day. Copy the notes into your black composition book and click on the Google Slides to read more about those events. Check Discovery Education daily for newly assigned videos that go along with the events that lead to the American Revolution.  

  2. BrainPop: Causes of the Revolution: Through Clever, log onto BrainPop. Watch the assigned video titled, “Causes of the Revolution.” Then, complete the quiz based on what you learned about in the video.
